This is really just a random post about fashions I've found for the ol' fam this week.
Not only do I love shopping for myself but I love shopping for my men of course, Chad & Cade.
For part of his Father's Day gift I couldn't resist getting the Jack Polo and Fitz short from Lilly Pulitzer. Can't wait for him to wear this at the beach. I'm sure he hates getting clothes at every occasion but if I don't buy it he never will. Fact.
Then last night I was at a "free standing" Belks in GA and if y'all Southern girls know sometimes those are the best ones! I was looking for more Father's Day gifts but had to browse the kids section since there were a lot of 50% off with extra 40% off. Now I usually don't find too many kids items at Belks, besides the basic Carter's outfits and onesies, but I was shocked when I saw these cute little applique tees in sizes 12 mo, 18 mo, 24 mo.
I immediately thought of Cade (yes, I bought him 12 mo for late Summer. He will probably need it! ha! Plus they looked small) and nephew Carter. Then they had the "big boy" tees in the same brand just in solid colors to match and I thought about nephews Jackson & Maddox. How cute would those be monogrammed for them. They had aqua blue and red. ALL 50% OFF. I'm talking $6-7 bucks each.

They had so many adorable appliqued tees. I had to snatch this one for Carter Roo as well.
They had some with frogs, some with rockets, spaceships, guitars, etc...
I thought they looked a lot like the applique styles from Mini Boden that retail at $21
or like the ones from Kellys Kids that are $34!
I know everyone says there's more cute girl clothes than boy clothes and sure, sometimes I do find that to be true but honestly you just gotta know where to look and then sometimes you will even find surprises like I did last night. Could. not. resist.
