and I can't leave without saying how excited I have been about this season of American Idol. Seriously, I've watched this show from the beginning. What is it now? 10? 11 seasons? My sister has even auditioned twice (in Memphis and Charleston)! This year, Chad and I really got into it. We watched religiously every week. All of the top finalist were so good, I thought from the beginning if there were ever a year to go to the Idol Tour Concert it would be this year!
We fell in love with Phillip Phillips from the get-go and we were beyond pumped when he won. I think Jessica is insanely talented though and honestly either of them should have won because they were both so good, each in their own unique way. Entertainer vs. performer. I would have been happy either way and know both will go on to be successful.
The finale was fun and not going to lie - when "P squared" got emotional I almost teared up. I feel like the Dukes Hazzard theme should play when he walks in....
