Just playing catch up and posting a few photos from the past few weekends. We co-hosted a couples shower for friends, met Courtney [my sis] and Mack's new puppy Brax, and attended my sweet employee Jamey's wedding.
There's been a lot going on lately, but in just a few short weeks I'll have absolutely nothing on my agenda and the only worry in the world will be if the tide is going to reach my chair.
Hmmm sound familiar?
I. can't. wait!
Jamey began working at Sugar last Fall. She teaches 3 year olds at a local church daycare/preschool in the mornings making it convenient to help me out in the afternoons. She has been such a blessing and one of the sweetest people you will ever meet. She married her boyfriend of 8 years - together since they were 14 - and it was such a sweet wedding!
Here I am posing with the beautiful bride, my other sweet Sugar employee Allison, and friend Amanda.
The couples shower for Carrie & Steve was held at Rebecca & Brian's gorgeous house. It was a laid back, BBQ couples shower! They got a lot of great gifts for their home and it was nice to have the guys involved. Everything was absolutely perfect when we began to set up at 6pm...
THEN the inevidetable happened.
Rain.
Pouring, drenching rain.
...for the next 5 hours!
So needless to say, the party moved inside. No one seemed to mind because hey, the BBQ was that good and we all had a great time!
Stadium cups were the favors. One side had their monogram, "B", and the other side said
"Carrie & Steve: they some good". It's a total inside joke with the guys. Lord only knows where and how they came up with it, but everyone thought it was pretty funny and the guys, of course, loved it.
[Orange bc the bride graduated from Clemson and they are huge Clemson fans!]
Some of the girls with the bride as the shower ended.
Long night of rain/heat = hair catastrophe. Thaaaank you ponytail.
Mackers [aka Mack & Courtney's boyfriend] telling Brax to go pose for his Aunt Sandi.
I mean he must get use to the camera being in his face if he's going to be in this family.
Isn't he a cutie?
you all look so precious at the wedding. love that red dress on you, friend!
ReplyDeleteand um...did you come up with the centerpieces, etc at the shower? it SCREAMS sandi michelle!
No Stephanie Gamble did those! She's very creative and had a lot of time that week to help. Just hated they only stayed out for 20 minutes before they got drenched! I did the invites though =) That was my "job". haha
