Who watched last night's ACM Awards?

I'm a huge country music fan. Always have been. I think everyone who grew up in the South [especially out in the middle of nowhere country] loves country music. Kind of a no brainer right? I attended my first country concert when I was four. Good ol' Randy Travis AND Reba. My oh my. I got a t-shirt and my mom said I never took it off. I was obsessed. C'mon, you know you loved a little "Diggin Up Bones" and "Little Rock". Claaaasic.

Then came Aaron Tippin. Met him at Wal-Mart autograph signing [yes, Wal-Mart] and thought my life was complete. Had a poster of him in my room. Seriously, who admits that? I've been obsessed with attending concerts ever since, [even met a few before they were big time: ahem, Keith Urban and Luke Bryan] then in 2009 finally made it to CMA Fest. I'd love to go every year. Again, that's how much I love country music.

So, now that I've professed my love and shared a few too many embarrassing Aaron Tippin details, let's move on to last night's fashions shall we.

First up: Carrie Underwood. Really? Does she ever look bad?

Absolutely gorgeous in Jean Fares Couture.

Julianne Hough. Well, she could put on a potato sack and still look good.

LOOK at that body. Sheesh.

Loved the melon. This color is going to be so hot for Spring!

Jennifer was stunning in black. Great cut out detail on the dress [huge trend for Spring 2011. Don't even try to act like you didn't wear a prom dress like this in 1998. I know I did. Fully beaded. Yikes.]

and Taylor snagged Entertainer of the Year, but not sure she's going to go home with Best Dressed. This did nothing for her. Where's the royal blues, purples, and reds Taylor?

What did you think about the duets of the evening? Zac Brown and James Taylor?

Oh and there was Steven and Carrie...

got a little crazy yelling at times, but still unbelievable. Loved it.

and then there's Rhianna and Jennifer Nettles.

I won't lie. I was scared.

But they. rocked. it. out.

Amazing!

my girl Miranda was on fiiiii-yah. She racked up 4 ACM Awards and I've been a huge fan for years and years. I can remember seeing her when she opened for Dierks Bentley a few years ago in Clemson. Crazy how a great album can completely do a 180. Go Miranda!

and I was so excited to see Eric Church perform on the ACMs this year. He and Luke Bryan are my two favorite guys. Hands down. I've loved them for years. Did you know Eric and his wife are expecting their first child? He wrote a song in 2006 called "Two Pink Lines" and he was recently quoted saying they've been "sitting around waiting on two pink lines" just as the song says. Glad it finally happened. So happy for them!
