this week has been BUSY.

Sugar, The Frilly Frog, and Blossom gals have worked for weeks on styling/fitting models for the annual Greenwood Woman's Club Fashion Show/Luncheon.

It's a great show we look forward to each and every year. The Woman's Club provides a fabulous luncheon, we provide the fashion show, then women in the community purchase tickets and all proceeds go toward the Greenwood Woman's Club Scholarship fund. Last year's scholarship recipient, Ellie Milner - a junior at Lander University, is a regular at Sugar and works at The Frilly Frog so she was our surprise model for the day! There were 5 adult models and 5 kid models and it ended up being a great event. We appreciate them asking us to do this each year. You can read more about it here. I'll try to post more pics later of the looks.

Did I mention my nights have been busy with The Bachelor, Bethenny Ever After, Greys Anatomy, Private Practice and American Idol. Yes, I'm hooked to all three now (never watched this many shows ever at one time!) Add in the new season of RH of Orange County and well, you can pretty much call me a couch potato.

Here's my favorites on American Idol this year. Oh and did I mention, I LOVE Steven Tyler as a judge. Took me back to 8th grade when I was obsessed with Aerosmith and made my then-boyfriend buy me their Nine Lives album just so I could have the song "Pink"...you know, as "is my fav-oh-rite cuh-luh".

Which makes me think, I really need to find that CD.

Who's your favorites this season?

  1. I'm also loving the Bachelor this time around! While I'm loving me some Emily, I also still think Brad is a bit of a scum bag and I think she deserves better! So I hope he picks Chantal! Can you even follow my crazy reasoning? Haha

  2. That is so exciting that you were in the paper! I haven't watched American Idol this season but I can completely relate to having WAYYYY too many TV shows to watch at one time and thus becoming a couch potato! I'm the exact same way!
