Happy Birthday Drew

Today is Drew's 25th Birthday and his 3rd birthday spent in heaven.

This time of year is so hard for Uncle Brian, Aunt Sallie, Brianne, Jackie (his sisters) and my husband's entire extended family.

I texted Chad this morning and said something about today being Drew's birthday and how I hope my dad remembered to take him a piece of cake today in heaven. He wrote back "I just wish I had ONE MORE DAY to hang out with him". That's all he could say and it just broke my heart.

Please keep this family in prayer and please take time this Thanksgiving/Christmas season to truly appreciate every second you spend with loved one. It's a harsh reality [that, unfortunately, we've had to face too many times] but you never know if it will be your last.

*I also have several friends I need prayer for this week and there is a family I heard about here in town where the husband was killed in a car wreck this past weekend and his wife was 8 months pregnant with their third child. Please lift up this family in prayer. I can't even imagine.

Oh and sorry for the lack of posts, but this is my 16th consecutive day of work and things are only going to get crazier with the holidays around the corner. Hope to catch up soon.
