What a busy weekend we've had. It was Tax Free weekend here in South Carolina, so at Sugar we had MAJOR sales going on and plenty of women came out to take advantage of them [thanks ladies!]. Very grateful to clear out Spring/Summer styles, so we can make room for Fall. Did anyone else take advantage of tax free weekend? There's still a few awesome Lilly steals left and I'll be updating our website www.scsugar.com pronto tomorrow.
After a busy day of sales on Friday & Saturday, I did a photoshoot of this sweet girl, Elyn.
She is such a cutie pie and we ended up doing the photoshoot at Sugar, since it's "all-things-girly" and made her look like the little diva/sugarbaby that she will soon be =)
[more pics coming soon]
After that we attended an engagement party at the lake for Kimberly & Jay. Kimberly is the owner of Blossom Shoes & Such and we've become friends [and some days we feel like co-workers since we try to do ads/promos/events together] since she opened her store a few doors down from us in March 2009. They were engaged over a month ago and will wed on April 2nd in Greenville. We're looking forward to it and so excited for them!
and just a funny story about the outfit I chose to wear Saturday night...
me [while getting ready]: "when someone tried on this blue seersucker "one piece" romper at the store, they said it felt like they were wearing a little boy's jon jon.
Does it really look like a jon jon?"
[I really do love my customers...and their honesty! :) ]
the hubs: "sandi, you act like I even know what that is!"
Let's note he DOES have two nephews. I thought it was funny though, bless his heart, he does good to keep up with adult fashions, must less kids. Maybe one day he will learn right?
Today after church it was my turn to take advantage of SC's Tax Free Weekend.
I finally got a new Macbook for the store to replace my old dilapidated college laptop I've been using in my office.
[sound the angelic choir singing "HALLELUJAH!"]
So excited that we will be able to update Sugar's website more regularly and upload pictures on a daily basis. Let me just say that I DID have to stand in line just to get into the Apple store. Craziness, but well worth it, because I'm one happy girl.
To spare you from the longest post ever, there's more I'll post tomorrow.
Not to mention I'm exhausted, with another photoshoot in the a.m. and full day of work
so I'm hitting the sack.
Have a great week
Sounds very busy! My son is turning one in Sept and would love to do some photos with you. What is your pricing? You can send me an email when you get a chance: annakendrick82@yahoo.com. Thanks!
