never thought i'd say this

but I am ready for Fall. 

{gasp}

Can you believe it? Just a few months ago, I was saying "Is it Spring yet? I'm ready for Summer". True fact: Summer has ALWAYS been my favorite season, hands down. But either I'm just getting older and "schools out for Summer" has no meaning in my life anymore or is it that this Summer has just been insanely H-O-T? Sure, I've had a blast, we've had several fun vacas (more on the way in August) and I don't have any reason to complain. 

Yet something inside of me is itching for crisp, cool air (the kind that doesn't suffocate you or fog up your sunglasses when you walk out the door) , SEC football - especially cheering on my Gamecocks and tailgating, pumpkins, colorful leaves, and oh yes...gorgeous boots, fun dresses, and  Fall fashion like this...

You have to remember that in the crazy world of fashion, Fall begins in July. I was ordering Fall 2010 back in January. So do you see now why I'm ready for Fall? I've been anticipating these lucious Fall styles for the past 7 months! [yeah, who can think of boots and long sleeves when it's 165646841 million degrees outside?]

Oh well, at least I can dream of cooler weather. Anyone else ready for Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Lattes? Scarves and boots? Christmas shopping?
