Weekend Recap

Hope everyone had a great weekend. I am a little sluggish on this Monday morning, and with good reason. Friday night we attended Allison (my sweet Sugar employee - not to mention model - who has worked with me for almost two years now) and Jason's rehearsal dinner and had a great time with great friends. Then Saturday was the BIG DAY and Allison had asked me to be the photographer. Again, I am by no means a professional and really only do this for friends and family, so I must say to all of you professional photographers out there who photograph weddings every weekend in Spring...my oh my, I seriously do not see how you do it. It's a lot of work, but I was thrilled to do this for them and be there for such a special time in their lives. It was such an honor. Allison was a gorgeous bride and even though it was extremely hot and muggy here in SC, the wedding turned out fabulous - no rain in sight - and everyone had a great time. Can't wait to post more pics this week. They are AH-MAZING!

Yesterday I had another photoshoot planned, but we quickly rescheduled because of how SCORCHING hot it was here. Anyone else have an insanely hot weekend? So what do you think we did? Hit the pool and relax. Yes, as Brad Paisley says, we had to find "a place to sit somewhere near water". Throw in an impromptu fish fry, fresh peaches & ice cream and it made for the perfect Summer day.
