Richly Blessed

"A faithful man will be richly blessed"
-Proverbs 28:20 niv

Thank you, Lord, for unexpected blessings. Some are dramatic, others seem small or humorous. These blessings bring zest to my life. I treasure their memories through the years.

I'm grateful for how You not only bless in huge, save-the-world crises, but also in our everyday walk with You.

For this, Lord, I give you praise.

The smallest blessings become the greatest treasures.

[ - When I'm on My Knees by Anita Corrine Donihue ]

Today, I'm so thankful for this beautiful sunshine and GORGEOUS weather. I'm thankful for my health, my grandfathers health (even though he was in the hospital this week), another busy work week and my wonderful [very helpful!] husband. Also thankful for the amazing service at church today that reminded me of how God blesses us with these simple treasures that we take advantage of from day to day. It also reminds me that while I stay so busy working so hard to provide financial blessings to Chad and I, in the grand scheme of things - the small wealth we have here means absolutely nothing. Our REAL riches are stored for us in heaven and earned by our faithfulness to Him. Thank you Lord for your small blessings like sunshine, family time, planting flowers, being in good health and enjoying the gorgeous weather [even if we could do without the pollen!]  - those mean so much more than what any amount of money could buy. Help me walk closer to You and remember that while we may not be "rich" in this lifetime, we are saved by grace and have a mansion a'waiting and therefore, we are certainly "richly" blessed.

  1. Beautiful post!! I think we all get so busy and wrapped up in our hectic lives and forget to thank God for all the wonderful blessings He has given us. Have a wonderful day! :)

  2. Thanks so much for a lovely post! After we give thanks, it really puts things into perspective, doesn't it? The things that we pray for, that we so badly want, they don't seem so important anymore. :)

Hope you have a great Sunday, and are enjoying your Clarisonic. :)
