We had a wonderful time, the women are always so sweet and we're very grateful they asked us to put on the show. The models were all Women Club members, so I really got to show a variety styles and show that Sugar truly has something for all ages, sizes, and budgets.
Photos on www.indexjournal.com coming soon!
Here's one that was in the Index Journal newspaper recently - it features Lisa {back left} owner of The Frilly Frog, myself and then Kimberly {front} owner of Blossom Shoes & Such. I love our little "team", even though we have completely separate/different businesses. Uptown Greenwood is really growing and we look forward to many successful years in the future.
Again, we are so incredibly grateful for the love and support we have received these past few years! [I really don't think my friends & family know just how much their support means to me! You guys are amazing!] Starting a retail business in the middle of a recession has been quite the challenge, but the Lord has taught me that with hard work, dedication, and a LOT of faith in Him...good things can and will happen. Waking up everyday, absolutely loving what you do and being able to help others...what more could you ask for? Those are the good things I'm talking about and for that, I feel extremely blessed.
Excited to celebrate TWO years of being in business this April 10th!! More info to come - mark your calendars!
I just found you from Pretty in Pink Megan's blog. Love your blog! I'll definitely add you to my sidebar and follow ~ I'm sweetsouthernprep dot com, and I also noticed you spoke of Greenwood. Small world, my sister is a teacher there. I'll have to tell her to follow your blog too, and check out your store, SUGAR. :) She loves getting things at the Frilly Frog for her son.
ReplyDeleteYes! Please do! What school does she teach at? That is wild - you are right, it's certainly a small world. Please stop by if you ever come to visit and I will check out/follow your blog too. You know I love all things SWEET , SOUTHERN, and PREPPY - cute name!
ReplyDeleteShe's at Brewer Middle School. I'm going to visit her in April I think, so I will definitely try and stop in...maybe buy a thing or two. :)
