Pages of treasures...

One of my goals for this new year is to complete a scrapbook of how we met, our engagement, bridal showers, and any event leading up to our wedding, as well as wedding memorabilia. We already have a coffee table book of our wedding photos from our photographer Clark Berry and it's absolutely amazing, so I've just been working on this little "pre-wedding" scrapbook for a while now. I feel like I'm well on my way and hope to be finished by Spring.

{i found so many cute scrapbook papers with fun "wedding themes", just to
 include a few of our favorite wedding photos at the end of the scrapbook}
 My next goal will be to complete a scrapbook devoted entirely to my father. After my dad passed away, my siblings and I found scrapbooks that my dad made {he just saved all newspaper clippings / photos of us, then used his handwriting to document the who, what, when, and where}. We were just blown away and I guess that is when my passion for scrapbooking re-surfaced. I hope to showcase my dad's life, beginning with his child pictures and ending with some of the last photos he took with us. Ever since his passing, photos have an entirely different meaning to me. They are the only memories that I have to pass along to my future children, making them treasures to me. I hope one day our scrapbooks will become treasures as well...
