I spent quite a while laughing when I found these on my computer yesterday... Here's just a few of my favorite photos of my sister and I at Christmas.
It got me thinking...if only we were able to sit in Santa's lap again, then get everything we told him we wanted on Christmas morning. Wouldn't it be nice if it were still that easy?
We don't have any particular Christmas traditions, but I guess the fact that we have always spent Christmas morning together {21 years now} and cooked breakfast is the best tradition we could ask for. {yes, even last year - my first year married- Courtney said Chad and I MUST be at mom's super early and still in our pajamas. Chad said "Is she serious?" Oh but she was...} I hope even as our family grows and in years ahead when we have our own kids, we will continue to make Christmas morning together a tradition. Maybe only this year, she'll let us sleep a bit later :)
What are your favorite Christmas traditions?
*Prayer request for a family. Their dad was just diagnosed with leukemia and refuses to do chemotherapy. They are giving him one month or so to live. Just devastating. He is in his late 40s.
