Goodbye 2009

2009 has overall been a great year {especially compared to 2008, which was a complete whirlwind rollercoaster for me}. Each year we are blessed with so many new adventures, but along with that there is always heartache and usually a few surprises thrown in as well.


That's what makes each year memorable right?

Here's a look back at our "firsts", new adventures, and fun times of 2009...

• First time I had ever been skiing/snowboarding {Boone, NC}
  

• One Year Anniversary of my boutique, Sugar


• First trip to Nashville and CMA Fest in June


• First "Womens Club" /Girls Beach Trip in July


• CALIFORNIA to see my sorority sisters Cara & Jenn


• My first experience in Beaufort, SC/ at a bed & breakfast for our ONE Year Anniversary


• Family Beach Trip in September
  
  
• First time in West Palm Beach in December and meeting Lilly Pulitzer {major highlight of the year!!!}
  
  

Surprises and Heartaches of 2009...

• Chad's grandfather passed away unexpectedly at the beginning of the year
  
  


• My great aunt passed away, as did her son Mike and that was total shocker
  
  


• Spent a lot of time with my grandfather in the hospital/rehab, but thanks to everyone's prayers he is doing SO much better and we are so thankful for his good health and pray 2010 is good to him!

• We can't forget the big shock of celebrities we have lost...Farrah , Micheal, etc... What a year!
  

Thanks to everyone who made this year fun and I am so thankful for all the many photoshoots I've done too. We wish everyone a blessed 2010 and we're so excited to see what the new year brings. Definitely ready to make lots of resolutions and turn EVERYTHING over to the Lord in 2010.
