Here's a look into our little home this time of year...

Last year I just displayed all of our cute Christmas cards on our mantle, but then it got so cluttered you couldn't see them well. This year, I had the brilliant idea to hang wreaths I made {adorned with sea shells} on the french doors leading into our "beach-themed" sunroom. I added ribbon to the bottom of each wreath and hot glued all of our cards to display them. Each year, I'll just cut the ribbon off and have an easy way to save all the cards if we want. Not sure if I like how it turned out, what do you think?

It's just an old mantle we got from Chad's granddaddy, painted, and put in our sunroom. Then at Christmas we use clear blocks from Lowe's and twinkling lights to create our very own "fireplace" effect. Works for me!
{now if only it could keep that room warm...}
and the true reason for the season...
"The true light that gives light to every man
