Fall Decor and Weekend Projects

Today over at Kelly's Korner, it's Show Us Your Life Fall Decor. I love to decorate for Fall/Halloween and Christmas - but being newlyweds, it's certainly nothing extravagant. I hope to buy a few new pieces each year and love thrifty ideas. I just recently did a post that had a few photos of Fall decor around our house but since then I've gotten some really great deals/new ideas I thought I would share.

Click here for older Fall decor post.

Dining Room Table
Deep red table runner = $7.99 at TJ Maxx {leave it on table year round}
Mosaic glass hurricanes = Christmas gift from my best friend {she got them at Pier 1} ! I LOVE them and also leave them on table year round}
Fall Garland = $5.99 {got it 50% off few weeks ago at Hobby Lobby}
Leaf Tealight Holders = Partylite , last year I hosted a party and got tons of free items.

Quick, inexpensive, and easy.

Got this idea from a decor website {cant remember which one, but I thought it was so cute}. Just buy 3 tiny pumpkins {78 cent / lb at Walmart} and 9 ft garland { 3$ at Wal Mart }, paint "B O O" {yea I've still got to finish} and VOILA!
Spruced up our mantle in the sunroom in no time and less than $7 bucks. Now that, I can handle.

Weekend projects include trying to create yet another Fall idea I saw in a magazine - a monogrammed pumpkin {we'll see how that goes}.

Have a great weekend!
