Isn't it wonderful?

Happy one year anniversary to my wonderful husband! It seems like we just got married last weekend because this past year has flown by SO fast. Where does the time go?

Everyone told me this and now I know it's true - marriage is wonderful! I'm amazed each and every day at Chad's unfailing love for me. Of course marriage is tough, with many challenges, but it's a love worth fighting for and so unbelievably rewarding.

We've had our share of challenges over the past two years, enduring many things most soon-to-be-newlyweds/newlyweds would never face. Chad has been my rock through it all. I know God placed him in my life for a reason. Even though we've been friends since we were teenagers, I know God had a plan for everything and His timing is always perfect. For this, I am thankful.

I pray the Lord blesses us with many many more wonderful years together...

This song is a new release by Keith Urban {my fav} from his new album Defying Gravity.

Word for word, this song describes the exact way I feel about Chad, my blessing.

Well I know there's a reason

and I know there's a rhyme

We were meant to be together

and that's why

We can roll with the punches

We can stroll hand in hand

and when I say forever

you understand

That you're always in my heart

you're always on my mind

and when it all becomes too much

you're never far behind

And there's no one

That comes close to you

Could ever take your place

cause' only you can love me this way

I could have turned a different corner

I could have gone another

place

Then I'd have never had this feeling

that I feel today, yeah

and you're always in my heart

you're always on my mind

and when it all becomes too much

you're never far behind

and there's no one

that comes close to you

could ever take your place

cause' only you can love me

this way

Hand in hand, we start a new year
May we love each other more tomorrow than we do today
and always remember...

"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast. It is not rude, it is not self seeking, it is not resentful. Love does not keep a score of wrongs. Love stays away from the negative and rejoices in truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes & endures all things. Love never fails"

-Corinthians 13:4-8

If we plant our roots firmly in the palm of God's hand,

We'll find the wisdom to grow with each other,

the love to forgive each other,

the strength to hold each other,

the faith to believe in each other,

and the courage to dream of a million tomorrows.

I hope to take lots of beautiful photos of historic Beaufort, SC -where we'll be relaxing during a quick mini-getaway to celebrate our one year anniversary. Stay tuned for those...

Best,
