This week at Kelly's Korner - it's show your favorite vacation spot!

and oh how I love to travel. Some of my favorite spots are Cali, Hawaii, NYC, Italy, and good ol' South Carolina beaches...but my all-time favorite vacation spot- where I have so many fun memories from - is the Wyndham Crystal Palace Resort on Cable Beach in Nassau, Bahamas. I love all things tropical/beachy and have loved the Bahamas ever since my first trip in high school. My mom first visited the Bahamas a few years ago when we went on a trip with her co-workers. She fell in love too and from then on has been a TRUE Bahama Mama. Now we all go together for family trips and hope to visit again next year for "mrs bahama mama's" birthday!

The hotel always has fun family activities at their massive pool - from volleyball games to water aerobics - let's not forget the amazing fun water slide - there's never a dull moment, espcially when there is always upbeat Bohemian music playing! However, relaxation at the beach/lagoon is only a few steps away!

{above: this was taken of Chad & I before the Independence Day celebration {we look so young and this was only 2 years ago!}- but yes, we were in the Bahamas on the 4th of July but they still celebrated our independence day with a huge "junkanoo band" show and fireworks display at the Atlantis Hotel. If you are ever in the Bahamas on the 4th, no doubt it will be a great time!

Sun. Sand. Relaxation. Friendly locals. Beautiful water. Yummy seafood. Fun reggae music.

What's not to love?

Orange County, CA would have to be my next pick! I just got back last week from visiting my two college friends who live there. It's always a blast and always gorgeous! Check out photos here.
