holiday retail craziness :: week four

Wednesday, December 5, 2018

determined to stay caught up this season and document a glimpse into the craziness.

so last week it was a week of catching up and PUTTING up all of the sale items + cleaning + getting the store back in order + a ton of restocks and new arrivals too!

we did a huge photoshoot Uptown and the lights are just amazing. If you're ever near Uptown Greenwood around the holidays, you simply must drive through. Don't miss Connie Maxwell Christmas Lights too!

Then on Wednesday I took the day off to (finally!!!) get my tree + Christmas decor up. More on that later...

and it really was motivated by hosting this fun party at our house Friday night. One of my friends (my very best friend's older sister, actually, who is like another sister to me) began selling Mary Kay recently along with her teenage daughter. It was a great way to have a girl's night with fun makeup and MERRY, MERRY cheer! (+ promote entrepreneurship + GIRL POWER too, yup)

It was a fun, chill time that was much needed after an insanely crazy two weeks...

Suzanne is wearing our Merry & Bright Tee | just restocked!!

in an attempt to be festive, I tried this recipe with one bite brownies which was quickly a #pinterestfail once the reddi whip melted...

found matching cocktail napkins at market, but the invitations were from FIG in Uptown Greenwood!

So Saturday morning I was set to work and Uptown planned to host a fun Cookie Crawl for all of the kids since it was Santa on Main Weekend! Think wagon rides with Santa, PJ Party with Santa, pics with Santa...you know...aaaall the things.

Well the weather was atrocious. Total monsoon all. day. long. They postponed the cookie crawl so I just sat there and ate all of these delicious cookies myself.

KIDDING (kinda...) but I did take them to work and share :) :)

Saturday evening we ordered take out and watched all the football we can handle for one night!

Sunday afternoon it was "Sunday funday" and it's my favorite day because it always means more QT with the boys so we went to Greenville to get haircuts and SAW SANTA!!!!!!!! Also picked up one of my bestie's who lives just around the corner from where we get haircuts and she came along for the ride + dinner at Cheesecake Factory.

Always a fun time, always thankful for her helping me out with the boys and yes...the boys loved Santa!! Charlie was only a wee little bit timid at first but the pic turned out great...(except they look way too grown and I want to go hide in a corner and cry my eyes out...)

and now this week we're back in the swing of things - taking photos of new fabulous holiday styles.
don't miss them in store and online. Whew. Rolling in all day, errrday.

NEW STYLES LAUNCH THIS FRIDAY @ 10AM!
