I was home with the boys last Thursday and decided to dye Easter eggs! Cade absolutely loved it (as I knew he would...he loooves being mommy's little helper) but Charlie could care less. Just like he could care less about decorating gingerbread houses. Seriously. If it has to do with food that he can't eat, little man says to heck with it!!
They weren't perfect but turned out a lot better than I thought they would. Last year we tried the shaving cream dye eggs trick from Pinterest and it was a #fail
A pretty bowl always helps hide the cracks from two slippery little boy's hands :)
Saturday we prepped to get the house ready to host Easter lunch, then we went to Troy's 4th birthday party. Love these sacks of shugah right here...
pirate theme and the boys had a blast. loved his cake Aly made. Amazing!!!
This one loved the swingset and I definitely see one in our future. We've put it off long enough but both boys are old enough to thoroughly enjoy one now...
aaaand this is how Charlie does a party. Go big or go home. (eeeeek. boys!!)
and the cake is always the best part of any party for Charlie. He gets it honest.
Water balloons and lots of pirate tattoos (that went well with their Easter Sunday attire ;)
It was a fun {hot for April, but beautiful!} day.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TROY!
