Starting off this post, diving right in to what's on my mind today! It's one of my sweetest friend's big 40th birthday today and as God would have it, she actually spent her birthday morning receiving her first chemo treatment for breast cancer. Yep.

Praise the Lord, it's localized and has not spread so they have a plan for chemo 4-6 months then a complete mastectomy in July. We know our "sista" will be just fine but it's still hard for us to understand why she has to go through all this. Know if anyone can get through this with one heck of a testimony and use it to touch others, it's Reagan.

We had another t-ball game this past Monday but our game last night was cancelled due to rain! These guys are loving it. If you missed our post about opening day, click here.

Last Saturday after opening day we planted a few crabapple trees and a yoshino cherry tree. Every year we try to add a little more to our home sweet home, bit by bit. I love this pic from Pinterest with the tulips at the bottom of the crabapple trees. Definitely need to plant more tulip bulbs this Spring. I love love love tulips and can't wait to see if we have any come up this year that we planted last!

Speaking of our home sweet home, I hope to take a few pics of our Spring decor and post next week! We have Sugar's nine year birthday celebration next weekend and then it's Easter. Yay! April is a jam packed month for us, so this weekend while we don't have as much planned I am going to just breathe it all in, spend lots of time with friends and family and ENJOY LIFE. After all, it's a GIFT.
