If you're in need of new outdoor furniture, NOW (well until Labor Day weekend next weekend) is the time to buy! From Target to Pottery Barn, to Home Decorators Collection...everyone is having amazing sales. While we already have rocking chairs on our front porch now that we will use on our future front porch, I knew we would need something for our new back deck. Ok so technically we need to be buying a lot of other things more for inside the new house, but I could not pass up a good deal. Story of my life.
We currently have a cute bench and small chairs from TJ Maxx (which I've loved) right now, but then I saw a gorgeous light blue conversation set on Target.com. It got me thinking. Well, then Home Decorators Collection sent an email where they were having extra 30% OFF Outlet Sale. I have racked up huge on these sales before, so I quickly headed over. That's where I found the Sonali 3 Piece Oversized Seating Set - regular price $699. It comes in two colors: khaki and eggplant. The khaki I love more, being a true, light neutral. Sale price of khaki is $244, but the eggplant is only $195! Yes, for all three pieces. Oh and they're oversized, over 40 inches wide each. Unbelievable. Perfect since our deck is going to be small and these three pieces will probably be just what we need. The only thing is the in-home-delivery is $80, so that made me decide on the eggplant. Also there is a coupon code (4376004) for $30 off any purchase of $150. That means I snagged this originally priced $700 set for $245 total, including shipping!! Pretty good considering how expensive metal patio furniture is. Blows my mind.
While I do love lighter and brighter, it's still a great color that won't show dirt and will be a fun challenge to accessorize/brighten up. Also how gorgeous in the Fall with bright yellow and orange mums, plus a fun wool plaid blanket. Cozy, cozy and perfect place to curl up during {almost} all seasons.
I'm thinking a gold tray on the ottoman and spraypainting this bad boy gold too (or keeping it the awesome color that it is) It was on sale for $24!
I already have the indoor/outdoor chevron rug in our playroom/sunroom from Ballard Designs which I plan to reuse on the deck. It's the chocolate brown, which I think will go with the eggplant cushions just fine.
However, to brighten it up I'd love to snag a few more awesome fringed outdoor pillows from the Ballard Outlet...

What do you think? Could we pull it off? At that price, as long as it's a comfy cushioned outdoor seat for us to kick back and sip on some sweet tea - I really don't care what color it is. So excited.
