Fripp is...

Wednesday, July 23, 2014

Waking up late to the smell of sausage frying, grits bubbling, and eggs sizzling. Standing in your pjs and looking out over the ocean.

It's grabbing your best buddy (also cousin), your sunnies, and heading down to the beach!

Taking the time to show some true love and take your girlfriend friend that is a girl, for a stroll.

It's making new six legged friends...

finding a new hat...

...and a new way to show off those "guns"

It's a mouth watering, homemade, low country boil with fresh Beaufort shrimp after a long day on the beach.

It's feeding deer a little supper too (and even luring them into our beach house. OMG - Maddox! ha)...

...and waiting for the deer to cross the street as we take our nightly golf cart ride to the "rocks" to do a little dolphin watching. So fun!

...while mommy found the Fripp houses more alluring than the dolphins. Swoon.

Fripp may be one of the only places you can take a staircase to the sea.

And pile up on golf cart rides to the pool with your best buddies...

to slide down the "froggy slide", while mommy enjoys a Key Lime Pie frozen drink from the Cabana Club!

and sometimes, just sometimes, Fripp. is. ATTITUDE. Lordamercy.

It's being serious about digging in the sand. I mean, REAL serious. (that lip!)

Eating goldfish on the beach.
Ham sandwiches with Duke's mayo and let's not forget the salt & vinegar potato chips.

Finding seashells and sand dollars...

Catching lots of fish...

and maybe a shark (or two...or three...!!!) as well...

Fripp is just soaking it all in. From sun up to sun down. Sunny days and cloudy days...

and just having a blast with some of your very best friends!

More golf cart rides with mommy...

and taking a stroll through the waves and playing on the beach with daddy!

and while we're at it...Fripp is a really great place to pick up some good lookin' chicks.
Let me introduce you to Flirt #1 and Flirt #2.

It's salt in the air, tan toes, and gorgeous sunsets.
Cornhole tournaments, bocci ball, lots relaxing, never looking at a clock... just being on "island time"...

...and OH HOW WE LOVE IT!!!

Such a fun, much needed vacation. Next up, I'll share our attempt at our yearly family beach pics. Always a fun time when there's eight kids under the age of seven! Chaotic and crazy, but we wouldn't have it any other way. Now here't to booking our house for next year. Let the 365 day countdown begin!
