Updates

Here's an update on the guest bedrooms. They are ALMOST done!

Note to self: Don't ever start a project right before Christmas.

Ever.

So this is the before.

Chad took down the first piece of paneling to start the process...

[it was one room, paneling, hunter green carpet, old light fixtures]

then we had this: demolition phase.

Now, we have TWO rooms with freshly painted walls, beautiful molding, new light fixtures and new blinds. Just need to install the new carpet and we can begin moving things back in.

Valspar Fountain Mist

{the colors really look different in every photo but I'm very happy with how the colors turned out. I wanted very light, neutral colors that could hopefully be used for nurseries/kid's rooms one day. For now they will be a storage room and guest bedroom/office}

Valspar Olive White

The guys (Chad and his buddy Chad) have worked SO hard on these rooms. They've put in a lot of hours and I'm so thankful they could do it themselves, since we ended up saving a lot of money. However, I know they are exhausted and they said they weren't ready

to quit their day jobs!
